Our NEW Cat Spot On has been two years in the making!
Although not proven it is thought that many cats do not have the ability to break down some of the components in some essential oils.
These are called ‘Phenols’ and can cause liver damage or worse. We have therefore chosen super low & Phenol free, pure, therapeutic grade essential oils for our cat spot on for this reason.
There are always going to be those that even the most gentle of products do not suit, but we can assure you that no fillers, harsh chemicals or neurotoxins are involved in any of our products.
Cedarwood Oil is often known for its flea repelling abilities & often used for cats. It is quite relaxing and along with Lavender & Roman Chamomile in the mix can aid to chilled out your kitty.
Our testers have taken well to the formula with no reports of any fleas.
To first use we open the bottle in the same room but away from the cats and any dogs and leave it open for a while before using. Even if you can’t smell it from the other side of the room, the animals certainly can and it can help them adjust or move away if needed.
It is a topical oil mix that can be added to the back of the neck, apply 2 or 3 drops weekly or fortnightly on the back of the neck and massage in if allowed! (Use daily if there are fleas present) there are fleas present)
We love the subtle scent and can often be found sniffing the bottle!
It can be used on kittens from 8 weeks old.
